Tiffany Haddish Is The New Spokes Person For Groupon
2017 was an exceptional year for breakout comedian, Tiffany Haddish. Haddish landed her first major role as Dina in the movie Girls Trip. The Malcom D. Lee directed film was the first black comedy movie to passed $100 million at the Box Office. Haddish completely dominated all her scenes and stole all our attention. Tiffany Haddish won a New York Film Critics Award for best supporting actress in Girls Trip. Since starring as Dina, Haddish has hosted Saturday Night Live, becoming the first black female comedian to do so. On January 14th 2018 Haddish also won an NAACP Award for best supporting actress in Girls Trip and outstanding character voice over. Haddish will continue her reign in 2018. Aside from winning two NAACP awards this year, Haddish announced via Instagram that she is the new spokesperson for Groupon. Haddish shared an image of herself on Instagram captioned “Wassup, yaw!!! So excited to announce that I’m the new spokesperson for Groupon! Can you believe it? So stay tuned for some exciting stuff ahead,” Haddish closed the post with “GottaHaddish” hash tagged.
Tiffany previously announced her love for the Groupon on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Haddish told a hilarious story of her use of the app to go on a swamp tour. The video went viral and thus allowed her to snag a gig with Groupon. Haddish will soon appear in several Groupon commercials. Some of which will be commercials for the NFL Superbowl. This will be Groupon’s first Superbowl commercial in 7 years. Congratulations Tifanny Haddish !
