James LaRue Avery, popularly known for starring in the 90’s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” passed away New Years Eve of 2013.. Avery died due to complications from open heart surgery. James was 68 when he passed.
Many people enjoyed the award winning series because of the humor it provided and how family oriented it was. Let's not forget that Will Smith starred as the main character in the Andy Browitz and Susan Browitz created show. Smith was a rapper at the time known as “The Fresh Prince”. His popular songs were “Parents Just Don’t Understand” and “Summertime”.
Still we send prayers and love to the family of James LaRue Avery. Avery meant so much to people everywhere and still his legacy lives on today. May the beloved TV dad continue to rest in peace.
